1947 Press Photo Baltimore Colts owner Robert Rodenberg with his wife and kids

Baltimore, Maryland - Robert Rodenberg, Baltimore and Washington sportsman, who said he would pay two million and a half dollars for the American League Franchise of the St. Louis Browns. Rodenberg, owner of the Baltimore Colts of the All America Football League said he was not prepared to move the Browns to Baltimore next season, but that if Richard Muckerman, present Browns owner, accepted his offer he would leave the team in St. Louis for a year. The Browns then would come to Maryland in 1949, when the new Baltimore Stadium opens. Photo measures 8.5 x 6.75 inches. Photo Is dated 1947.
