Do you love your pet???   Seriously?  Do you love your pet????  If not, you should really go look at those synthetic pet carriers that cost about $20-$50.  Synthetic means 'man made'- mostly of petro-chemicals, plastics.  You get the idea.  Do you think your dog's nose, skin and eye sensitivity are more pronounced than ours??  They are.  By an order of magnitude (that means by quite a lot).  The point is, those cheap bags are not the best idea to stick an already traumatized pet into for many hours.  If money is an issue, then you should be looking at those-we all have to make sacrifices at some point in life.

Anyways, all kidding aside (but my point is valid), this was my Mom's.  She said she purchased it about 10-12 years ago to transport her baby Pekinese dog from Cincinatti to Seattle.  It was used once and stored away.  I caught her running out of the house to Goodwill to drop this and a few things off before I stopped her and grabbed it.

The quality on this thing is unreal.  It's really not something you see much of anymore.  Samsonite made it, but I'm thinking their (and most other companies) standards were much higher just a few years ago.  It is made of this beautiful, thick leather.  The zippers are all very sturdy and you can tell that they will last.  The clasps are of a very high quality.  The carrier has several 'windows' to give your pet a view or more breathing room.  There are all kinds of pouches on it.  I think I captured most in the pictures.  It comes with the Ivory colored bed that you see.  That is the only thing that has a tiny bit of wear on it....it looks like her puppy wanted to chew on the middle section of the ivory bed.  Nothing is damaged or anything like that; you can just see where she had been nervously nibbling.  It comes with a shoulder strap, and I think the other strap is for pulling the carrier when it is hooked to the front.  It comes with 4 high quality wheels that are not installed-they will be in a ziplock.  It comes with one small dog collar that has an attachment for a leash.

I spent a lot of time looking for this exact bag online.  It appears that it is no longer made.  I would guess it costs too much to make it, and they are now cutting expenses by going the all-synthetic route.  I only know what she paid for it 12 years ago...and it's quite a bit higher than I'm asking today.

The bag is about 18 inches long x 12 inches high x 10 inches wide.

So...do you love your pet?  :-)
