This is an ultra rare WW2 WRNS officers 5a working dress uniform.

Worn late WW2 by WRNS officers working in Europe. The last few pictures show WRNS signal staff stationed at Arromanches and Glanville in France shortly after the D-Day landings. If you want to attend the Normandy 80th Anniversary as a wren officer this is the uniform to wear!

This is reproduction of the  rare WW2 WRNS officers 5a working dress uniform.

The jacket is a genuine RN issue officer's 5a working dress with WRNS third officer rank boards on each shoulder. It is a 38" bust, 28 - 30" waist and 24" sleeve. It is in very good used condition. It has period gilt brass Kings crown RN officer's buttons.

The skirt is a woman's civil defence battledress skirt of the same period, but matches the heavy wool serge of the jacket extremely well. It is a size 30" waist, 40" hip and 25" long. In excellent as new condition.

The beret is geunuine RN officers issue with a repro WW2 style WRNS officer's cap badge with pale blue laurels. Size 58cm.

A modern RN issue womans shirt and tie are also included.
