Artist biography:

Shafaq graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 1991 and earned a Masters of Fine arts Degree from Texas Christian University in Forth Worth, Texas in 2011. She collaborated with several art glass studios including Fanoos, Barovier & Tosso, Ajeto, Studio Prince, Studio Hut Charlotta, and Lindshammar, and her art collections are in many private collections and museums around the world.

 

Today, she works as a multimedia artist and paints, works in 3D and mixed media, has a website and many international exhibitions. Her works are included in permanent collections at the Madi Museum of Geometric Art in Dallas, Texas; Mercedes Benz Daimler Financial, Forth Worth, Texas; Brookhaven College, Texas; and North Lake College Irving, Texas.
