I took this box out of my car so I could swap in a ZF automatic and be able to map the shift patterns to my liking. The box is suitable for an N52 (and I think N53) engine and will probably fit others but I don’t know how similar the bolt patterns are.

The box was fully working, but I felt it was never a good match for the character of the car. It’s done about 110k miles, and did have an oil and filter change at BMW a few years ago.
