This is a great "starter kit" great for kids
When I unpacked this I thought it was complete, all the compartments filled etc. but on checking the back of the box, you can see that some of the rolling stock has been exchanged (all in VGC).
This Kit now comprises:
Engine (track tested and running smoothly) and the rolling stock as shown in the photos.
All the track is Hornby (made in Austria), I have given it all a light surface clean, all fishplates in place (probably not original), and if you look really, really closely with the naked eye, you might detect the hint of the early signs of rust (on very few sections).

Then there is a collection of accessories in the side compartment:

The box has been extensively repaired and is missing one end.
