Transcription: "Honest editors, at the end of May my publisher (B. Elischer Nachf. Leipzig) a copy of mine 'Journey around the world' been sent. I may well assume that you will not refuse a review of such a book to such a long-time collaborator as I am, and kindly ask you to send it to me at the above address, if it has already appeared. At the same time I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I will soon be planning a trip to Australia, New Zealand,Samoa, Mexico, Cuba Etc. and I intend to write a series of articles about it. May I not hope to interest you in these as well? Sincerely Wilh. F Brand. Most of the orders{?} were also published by you."
