This stunning vintage maxi dress by Italian designer Averardo Bessi is made from the typical fine silk jersey with a white and blue floral print against a black background, with the Bessi signature on the fabric. The dress has a high neckline, long sleeves and closes with a back zipper and a metal hook and eye at the back of the neck. 100% silk, unlined, fabric is semi sheer. Made in Italy. A classic from the 1970s, versatile for many occasions and an instantly recognizable piece. In overall excellent condition for age, one small spot on front (see last photo) and zipper is a little sticky but functional.
