Interior Main zipper compartment opens into 3 areas,  One middle zipper compartment, one open compartment, 3rd compartment has a small zip compartment. Please see photos for actual condition.  This is an excellent medium sized backpack to keep your hands free!  This is not available in stores but stands the test of time with a non-trendy design.
