Very cute little ornament depicting a white kitten playing with a ball of yarn. The ball is made from real yarn, and the kitten has whiskers set into the ceramic of its face. C. 1950s. Marked "JAPAN' on base. Hand-painted details. 

Approx 9cm high x 7cm wide x 4.5cm deep.

Good used condition. Minor wear. No chips or cracks. Missing some whicker-length on one side. Writing on base. Age-related crazing to the glaze. Please see photos for more details.
