Vintage Carpenters Hand Brace Swing Drill with 7x Bits. Penny Brace. 8" Swing.

Lovely vintage hand brace drill with a small set of 7 bits.

It holds square end drills which are held in place by the original wing nut.

Total length of the brace = 11".

Swing = 8".

Drill bits include (photo left to right):-

1. 3/8". Stamped: D. Flather & Sons, Sheffield.

2. 5/8". No stamps.

3. 3/4". Stamped: I. Sorby, Jocker logo, Sheffield, Eng. 3/4.

4. 7/8". Stamped: 7/8.

5. 15/16". Stamped: Brown & Son.

6. 1". Stamped: E. Shearer & Co., Sheffield.

7. 1 1/4". Stamped: Logo Diamond British Made, 1 1/4".

It has been cleaned and sympathetically restored by my dad. It does have some age related marks but overall it is in a great condition and could be used.
