For sale is a Custom built Rail Bender Roller for bending constant arcs during fabrication of model railroad track and turnouts. The rail bender has been used with code 40 to 148 rail.  The bender is an all metal construction for long lasting durability. The bender of course can be used to bend other items of similar diameter and metal hardness. If bending steel maximum diameter is lower. The pictures show a code 40, code 83, code 100 and code 148 rail with exaggerated arcs.  Also shown is a piece of code 100 rail inserted in the tool bent in an “S” shape and then the same piece straightened using the Rail Bender.  The Rail Bender is 7” x  3” x 1.5” and weighs 8 Oz.

The last picture is of the Rail Bender with the upper bearings moved in to allow for less than a 2" arc for micro-layout dioramas using code 44 and code 83 rail.
