Shoji Nobe No.15 '74 (1974) A 1974s classical guitar by Shoji Nobe, known as a master craftsman of the Showa era! Shoji Nobe began repairing guitars in 1945 using the skills of his father, Ikue Nobe, who was a joiner, and later began making guitars. Opened his own business in 1965, and became known as the master craftsman of the Showa era due to his high level of skill. Although he passed away in 2004, his son has now taken over the business and the brand has been passed down. You can confirm that the model name of this model is No. 15, 1974s from the label affixed inside the body. I think the top is spruce, and the sides and back are Jacaranda because of the grain and texture. The actual scale is 650mm, and the nut width is 52mm.
