Uncle Sam Mechanical Coin Piggy Bank Cast Iron Paul Sebastian Inc

Measures about 11" tall, base is about 4-3/4" x 3-3/4"

I don't believe this is an antique, but is probably a vintage reproduction. Probably distributed by Paul Sebastian, Inc., and probably made in Taiwan, R.O.C.

We do not have the original box. The cover for the hole in the underside is missing, so unless you use something to cover the hole, the coin will simply drop out of the base when Uncle Sam drops it in his suitcase/briefcase.

To operate, place a coin in Uncle Sam's right hand, then press the lever that is behind him on the base. The suitcase will open, and Uncle Sam will lower his arm to drop the coin in the suitcase/briefcase. At the same time, Uncle Sam's rather large tongue will wag.

This is a heavy, cast iron item, so be sure to check the shipping options for the carrier's rates that work best for your location.

Pre-owned, tested & works, missing cover on underside. See photos
