Reproduction Simplicity/ Allis Chalmers formed headlight bars for round hood foot dragger style garden tractors (Simplicity: early Landlord, Landlord 101, 2010, 2012; Allis Chalmers: Big Ten, B10, B12). These are extras from the ones I made for personal use. I made these to the exact outer dimensions and bend angles as three originals I have, mimicking the formed headlight bars from the sixties that angled the headlights down toward the work area in front of the tractor (better visibility over the simple flat bar style). The mounting holes differ from the original location, moved 1/4in forward with a slight notch in the middle, to allow for more clearance between the bar and the grill. I found that 4 tractors in my collection that did not originally have headlights had interference when mounting original headlight bars with their grills - likely due to slight variations in Simplicity’s production - hence the change in mounting locations on the reproduction ones. And, an added bonus of these not being able to be sold as originals for the purists out there. I can confirm that these reproduction headlight bars worked on the tractors I have which do not have the interference issues as well. The headlight bar you received may vary slightly from the one pictured, will be drilled with the mounting holes, and unpainted. Sold as is, no returns.
