A classic transistor radio from the 1970s by Bang & Olufsen.

Showcasing B&O's signature minimalist design, the black & brushed aluminium casing blends in well with any decor.

Sound quality is of course excellent. The FM tuner pulls in weak stations better than may modern radios. MW is pretty good too. Not that there's much left there to receive.
(NB FM only tunes up to 104MHz - as was the way back in the day - so if your favourite radio station is a higher frequency it might not be for you).

There is also a useful DIN socket on the side to which you can connect an iPod, phone, Bluetooth streamer DAB adapter etc. with a suitable DIN adapter (or even a cassette recorder!!) and the built-in amplifier will take care of the rest.

All the controls work as they should. No crackles & pops, and the tuning slider is lovely and smooth.

Being 50 years old it is not perfect. There are signs of wear & tear, especially underneath. It has at some point in the past had batteries leak inside and there is some corrosion evident on the positive battery terminal. But I've cleaned up the contact and it connects perfectly.

Offered here with a low starting price and no reserve. Pop in a bid, grab a bargain and own a piece of classic Danish engineering.

It will be shipped same or next day and I take great care with packing to ensure it reaches you in the same condition it left me.

Happy bidding and good luck!

I forgot to mention there is a little envelope stuck to the inside of the front panel, it contains a circuit diagram and parts list of the radio. How thoughtful of B&O!
