Presenting a Vintage Mattel Midcentury Danish Modern wooden bed for dolls that was made in Japan and commissioned by Mattel circa 1958.
The stock number is #807. Mattel Modern Furniture. Queen bed.
The widest part of this wooden bed is the headboard, which has a light design in the middle. It is ap. 8" wide. The bed is ap 11.5" long, and 4" tall.
It is just wonderful with the quality dark wood and design, but what makes it even better is the original gold coverlet that fits the bed perfectly and has a design to the material. Underneath the coverlet is an original yellow pad, and it still has the original yellow pillow also.
This is pre-Barbie, but was often used for Barbie dolls later on. I used this type of Mattel furniture for my 8" Ginny and Muffy dolls.
It is in excellent condition with no problems. From a smoke free home.
