Score-A-Deal - Terms & Conditions of Sale

- SALES TAX:  Customers in Canada will have the appropriate level of HST/GST added to their purchase + shipping at the invoicing stage.

- RETURNS: Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were sold.  For example, if the item was listed as Brand New, it must be returned in the same factory sealed condition.  If the item was sold as New (Open Box) or Used, it must be returned in this same condition, complete with all accessories it originally shipped with.  Buyers are required to contact us prior to shipping back a return to provide return reason details and to obtain instructions.

- Approximate Shipping Service Times:

     Canada - Default ship method is Expedited Parcel.  Service time varies between 1 and 7 business days, delivery time is NOT guaranteed.  Upgrade to Xpresspost for faster service in a guaranteed timeframe.  LOCAL PICKUP IS AVAILABLE - Please contact us for details.  It may be a couple of days before we can arrange to meet you, but we're happy to do so to save you on shipping costs if this is convenient for you.  Please contact us BEFORE buying if you require local pickup.

     United States - Default ship method is Expedited Parcel (or sometimes Tracked Parcel, depending on weight of the package).  Service time varies between 4 to 10 business days, delivery time is NOT guaranteed.  Upgrade to Xpresspost for faster service in a guaranteed timeframe.

     International - Default ship method is International Parcel Air (or sometimes Tracked Parcel, depending on weight of the package).  Service time varies between 2 to 4 weeks.  Upgrade to Xpresspost (where available) for faster service in a guaranteed timeframe.  We will NOT ship via a Surface method.  While we appreciate that these options are usually cheaper, we've found that they take too long (sometimes in excess of 6 to 8 weeks) which leads to "Item Not Received" cases being opened, we end up having to refund the customer, and we never see the product (or payment) again.

- Customs & Duties: These fees, if applicable, are NOT included in our auction or shipping fees, and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Please notify us at the time you remit payment if the item is a gift so that we can mark it appropriately on the shipping documents.

- Shipping Exclusions:  Due to Canada Post's limitation of $100 maximum insurance coverage to 100+ countries, we have elected to not ship to those countries.  History has shown that too many packages simply don't make it to their destination in these countries, and we have a difficult (if not impossible) time recovering our loss.  Therefore, if you live in one of the countries on our list, we reserve the right to cancel your bid and/or purchase.  Our apologies in advance to legitimate individuals residing in these countries, but we've simply been bitten far too many times to continue to ship valuable items to these countries.  Where possible, we have added these countries to the Shipping Exclusion list on Ebay, so that purchasing should not be an option for you.  In addition to those countries setup, here are the ones that are not on Ebay's list, but we will not ship to if it meets these restrictions:  Br. Indi. Ocean Tr, Cuba, Curacao, Dutch Caribbean, East Timor, Iran, Korea Dem Rep, Kosova, Kosovo, North Korea, Pitcairn, Principe, s. Tome/Principe, Saba, Saint Eustatius, Saint Maarten, South Sudan, St. Croix, St. Thomas, Sudan, Syria, Timor-Leste, Tristan da Cunh, Vanatu, Zaire.  This list may be modified at any time without notice or updates.

- Packaging: Your item will ship directly in its original packaging if this is sufficient to protect the item.  If not, it will be repackaged into a bubble envelope or another box. Note that the shipping carton / retail box may receive scuffs or other minor damages in shipping. If you require that the retail package be kept in excellent condition, please notify us of this in advance, so that we can be sure to overpack the item. Additional handling fees may apply for some items, these costs, if applicable, will be communicated to you prior to payment being expected, or a separate PayPal invoice will be sent that will have to be paid prior to shipping.

- Warranty: Unless listed as an "As-Is" item, your item is guaranteed against being DOA or having any major defect (we also guarantee that the item will be exactly as listed/described in the auction + any emails/messages sent from us). Customer must contact us within 14 days of receiving the item. Beyond that time, manufacturers warranty MAY apply - contact the manufacturer to inquire about warranty repair and to determine if an item is covered.

- Battery-specific warranty:  Any batteries that are included with an item are AS-IS, we do not guarantee battery life as it is completely beyond our control.

- IF YOUR ITEM IS DAMAGED OR ANY OTHER ISSUE: Please contact Score-A-Deal ASAP after receiving your item. We take our reputation very seriously (check our feedback rating!) and are committed to working with you, our customer, towards ultimate satisfaction. If the item is defective or damaged, we will send a replacement if available, or will provide return authorization if no other solution is available.
