Acceptable Condition. The dust jacket shows moderate wear, with closed tears on the bottom corners, moderate creasing and wear on the edges and corners and has a new archival-quality Mylar Protector. The boards are straight and square, with some gentle bumping on the corners and light shelf-wear on the bottom edges. The binding is still solid and the last ~50 pages have notable damp-staining and wrinkling along the bottom edges (see photo). There is also some faint dust-spotting on the top page block. Otherwise the pages are without creases, marks or tears.

Published in the UK in 1993 after previously being published in the UK only in a paperback edition, this is the 1st UK Hardcover Edition, 1st Printing of The Dragonbone Chair, the 1st book in Tad Williams' bestselling Memory, Sorrow and Thorn Series. It has the original £15.99 price on the dust jacket's inner front flap and has a "New edition published in 1993 by Legend Books" notation on the copyright page without any additional print notation (indicating a 1st printing for this edition). It is NOT a book club edition and is NOT remainder marked.
