Asymmetrical Large Pocket
Up for bid is a fantastic and rare vintage 60s Don Caporelli dress fashioned from a bold floral 100% cotton material in bright colors of orange, gold, hot pink, teal, and white. The size tag reads "22 1/2....42".....a rare find!! It reminds me of Momma Cass! ;-) Please see "How I Measure" and measurements below to ensure a proper fit. It measures and fits a plus size 1 or 2!
Features of this tent dress include a scoop neckline, a metal back zipper for closure and a very large and deep asymmetrical pocket in the front!
Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder 17 inches, Underarm to underarm 22 inches, Approx Bust 38 to 42, Mid-shoulder to bottom hem 39 inches, Underarm to bottom hem 29 inches, Side to side along the approx waistline 25 inches, Side to side along approx hips 29 inches, Pocket 9 1/4 inches x 9 1/4 inches (9 inches deep), and Side to side along bottom hem 34 1/2 inches.
This wonderful dress is in very good condition with the following flaws: Some bunches of threads on both shoulders where something was attached (see closeup photos), a small hole on each shoulder in the same area.......A few scattered very, very light spots on the white areas (darkest are in the front and shown in the last 2 closeup photos). Although this has been laundered and air dried, it has not been treated for the spots.

How I Measure Clothing: Measurements are of the garment.....not the wearer. Please be sure to allow and inch or two for comfort. Garment is measured while flat on a table. Please measure clothing that fits you well before you place a bid to make sure the item will fit you. All clothing, unless noted, is in used condition and will show some signs of wear. I will do my best to note every flaw that I find in the description. I am only human and may miss something.
Fiber Content Information/Cleaning/Mending: If the fiber content tag is still attached to the garment, I will state the information in the description. If there is no content tag, I will do my best to describe the material.....All garments will need to be hand laundered, machine laundered or dry cleaned prior to use unless I state that I have cleaned it. Some vintage fabrics require professional dry cleaning and I do not have a reliable cleaner in my area. Other vintage fabrics require special care and I dare not attempt using harsh chemicals or risk damage to the item. I will, however, clean garments if I feel comfortable doing so.
Due to my lack of sewing skills, any item requiring mending will be left to the new owner.
USA Refund Policy: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email within 48 hours of receiving the package and state you will be returning the item. Refund will be given as soon as item is returned and inspected.
Item must be returned with a tracking number within 30 days of auction's end.
All items must be in the same condition as received.
Non smoking household. We do have a cat. Items secured from other locations may have been subjected to other environmental odors.
