Duplicated manuscript (probably hectography).

The "Sheet metal, metal goods and lamp factory" Gabriel & Sido in boards (Baden) turns to the municipal board in Endingen.

"Associations have recently formed in various cities in order to control the 'house begging' that is becoming more and more prevalent & we have already supplied a large quantity of little signs which are attached to the houses of the members."

The sign is shown in its original size (12.3 x 12.3 cm): "Member of the association against house begging."

The sign company is now offering 100 zinc signs for 10 instead of the previous 15 marks and is asking the municipal council to "if necessary to want to work towards it."

Dated Bretten in Baden, "date of postmark" (Tue February 8, 1886).
