Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right, with crested helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a rock.
Reverse: Herakles nude crouching on knees strangling the Nemean Lion with both hands; on the Lion’s back, owl standing left, head facing. Ref. Vlasto 1322–4; HN Italy 976; SNG ANS 1413; SNG Lloyd 245.
RARE VARIANT. Extremely Fine. Early Issue. Nicer in hand~Small coin shown greatly enlarged. Attractive little gem!
