They bid on two interesting letters from Berlin; one of 1921, the other undated.

Written by one Werner from the Theater milieu; addressed to a friend.

Werner is Writer and/or dramaturge. He mentions that he is together with the actor Hans Schweikart and the director Karlheinz Martin establishes a working committee for an "association of actors, authors and directors for the performance of modern authors." -- Hans Schweikart played, among other things, in the film "The House to the Moon" by Karlheinz Martin (UA Berlin, 28. January 1921). He was also an actor in Karlheinz Martin's stage adaptation of August Strindberg's Nora (Deutsches Theater Berlin, 16. November 1921).

It is somewhat uncertain whether this Werner is an author, actor or director. It speaks for a director or dramaturge that when he reported a job rejection from Stuttgart, he received a "2. Dramaturg position" and the "2. Director" mentioned. However, in the other letter he writes: "My production is awakening, I will write a lot more. I feel it, so I don't need to take the final step of despair; it was the final step that would separate me from everything. I'll probably stay in Germany for the time being." So he's probably more of a writer.

The dated letter (1. March 1921), with letterhead "The picture and film lecture. Rental of picture lectures on economics and regional studies" (Berlin, Potsdamer Str. 41) includes two pages,

In the undated letter the beginning is missing; only the last page remains. Here with the letterhead "Theodor Teichgraeber Aktiengesellschaft Berlin S 59."

Theodor Teichgräber AG (board: Fritz Landé and Er. Triepel) was a chemical factory and drugstore and chemicals wholesaler on Camphausenstr. 26.

Written in pencil.
