Stoneware Stump-Form Pitcher with Relief Bark and Bird Motifs, probably Ohio, circa 1890, tankard-form pitcher in the form a tree stump with sawed limbs and three relief designs of a songbird on branch. Exterior covered in an Albany slip glaze. Interior covered in a Bristol slip glaze. Please carefully inspect photos as they are part of the description noting some chips and wear throughout consistent of its age, last 3 photos are with flash in showing cracks around the inside. Overall pitcher displays beautifully.
