Part of a collection of four models handcrafted in Japan, each representing a cardinal point of the compass.

With its precise-sounding white sycamore back and sides and hand-selected solid spruce top finished to a gleaming, deep-hued Miami Ocean Blue, the CPX15SA truly takes us to the southern seas. Starfish and playful porpoises grace the bound ebony fingerboard, gently swaying palm trees are the theme of the delightful, wood-inlaid sound hole rosette.

The versatile two-way piezo/condenser mic system is superb. An internal mic mounted on a flexible gooseneck for precise positioning combines with the piezo bridge pickup and allows both signals to be blended for the ultimate in acoustic-like realism, while the onboard EQ allows for extended tonal adjustment.

Back and sides are beatifully flamed. All electronics in full working order. Plays superbly and records even better. Extremely good condition for a guitar of this age with only one small mark worth mentioning in the clearcoat on the top shown in pictures, otherwise excellent. Been in supplied hard case for most of life.
