2 Betty Betz Books-Teenagers-Manners for Moppets and Party Book-1947 & 1962

i do not know where i came across Betty Betz. i found these 2 recently. here is a little run down on her.
Betty Betz was a columnist, author, and cartoonist in the 40's and 50's. When she wasn't entertaining teenagers at the annual Kellogg Youth Week Festivities, she dispensed wisdom to teenagers through the pages of magazines like Seventeen, books such as Your Manners Are Showing: The Handbook Of Teen-Age Know-How.

the manners for moppets book is from 1962. each page has an illustration and a little ditty about bad manners which makes one think of good manners. i am not a book expert however this one is used with no tears or marks however scuffs on the front and back covers. the spine is fine. it measures 7 by 8 1/2 inches.

the party book is from 1947. this one is also interesting. for starters, betty has put her head on one of the teenagers on the cover as she notes in the book plate on the first page. then lots of text ( and illustrations ) on how to throw a party in a number of themes. next a birthday section to remember friend's birthdays. and finally recipes, games and songs to sing at parties. as for condition, the spine has paper cracks and the corners show wear but little smudging on front and back. measures 7 by 8 1/2 inches.
