Col. James K. Edmondson to his wife Emma. James Kerr Edmondson
(1832-1898) was a Confederate officer, judge, businessman, politician,
and university trustee, of Lexington, Va. In the letters, Edmondson
describes his experience serving in the 27th Regiment, Virginia
Infantry, Stonewall Brigade.
