Here we have a genuine Antique Mantel Clock,made in the France probably in the second half of the 19th Century.

FOR RESTORATION

Completely made of Wood,with a Black and Red Marble effect.

Elegant White Dial with Black Roman Numerals.

The Brass Mechanism is stamped “ P.R “ inside a Cartouche and 6294. It has a Bronze Bell. This should date prior to 1880,as a count wheel was typically used on French movements until then.

The Pendulum and Winding Key are MISSING.

The Brass Movement is Running but obviously without pendulum it goes very fast, it strikes at the half hours and the correct amount of times at every hour.

SOLD FOR SPARES OR REPAIRS.

In overall fair conditions commensurate with age.

Marks and scuffs here and there. Craqueleures on the Faux Red Marble.

No Woodworms. The Bronze Bezel, with Beveled Glass,doesn’t close perfectly.

Approx Measures: 29,5cm by 13,1cm at the base, 27,8cm tall

Approx Weight Unpacked : just under 2,1 Kilograms
