You can look far and wide, I don't think you'll find a collection of 45's curated for you in this unique manner.  This lot of 45's is organized to coincide with a single school year-from the summer before, to the last day of school in June, 1980, these were the songs you listened to on the radio, and at dances and parties during the complete school year.  Music is such a powerful catalyst for memories--the dance where you met your soul mate, the concert where your best friend made a fool of themselves, etc--songs can bring back vivid memories.  If this is you or someone you know, then you need this lot of records.  Just think of the reunion party you could have with long lost friends and classmates, or you could surprise the group that you keep up with often.  Feed your inner DJ and spin 45s all night!  Some of the sleeves have biographical information about the artist or song so you can sound like an expert or you can conduct an on-the-spot trivia contest!  Maybe you need to win this lot and give it to the person up who exclaims "my mother threw out all my 45s" every time the subject of vinyl comes up.  Is this the ultimate Father's Day gift?  This collection has everything from #1 hits (4 of them), some of which may make you cringe when you play them, but believe me, they'll make your party all that much more fun and lively.  Also lesser hits that'll get you saying "Oh yeah, I remember that one," to obscure cuts from artists you may never have heard of. This is the year we went to see Urban Cowboy and Arthur (45s from these movies are in this lot), and a song from Air Supply played on the radio every 15 minutes!  This lot also features 45s from big recognizable artists, but not necessarily their biggest hits: ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Grace Slick, the Pretenders, Cheap Trick and Dire Straits are all represented along with many others.  All the 45s in the lot are pictured from #1s first, then the top tens (29), then the rest of the top 40 (45), then the rest-you get everything pictured-I never use stock photos in any of my auctions.  This lot includes many matching manufacturer sleeves, 31 Jukebox Strips and 5 picture sleeves! These valuable sleeves, jukebox tags (which sell for $1-2 each) and picture sleeves alone make the opening bid an absolute steal!  All records have been researched, and included on the paper sleeve (on either the top or bottom corners) are the date they entered the Billboard chart and the top position they achieved.  Condition averages out to VG+ to NM- with a few under that and a plentiful number in NM- or NM  condition.  Shipping is via USPS Media Mail and will run about $10.00 domestically. International shipping is via the ebay global shipping program and is much higher. Check out all my other 45s auctions for all years from 1971 to 1991 plus a few more lots all ending on Sunday May 26.  I always try to combine lots to save you shipping costs.  Good luck and enjoy those flashbacks!
