This Ten Dollar note features a battlefield scene of horses pulling cannon, with an oval bust portrait of CSA Secretary of State R. M. T. Hunter at right. Denomination on elaborate blue reverse.

THE NOTE IS HAND-SIGNED BY AGENTS FOR THE REGISTER and TREASURER OF THE CONFEDERATE TREASURY.

This Confederate bill was issued by the CSA Treasury on Feb. 17, 1864, the last confederate issue in the War Between the States.
