Up for bid is a sensational two piece suit from the 80s. The tag reads a size 8 but please see "How I Measure" and measurements below to ensure a proper fit.It measures and fits small.
The lovely pink material is cotton jacquard (57% cotton, 42%
acetate) and has a damask appearance. It is fully lined with a matching
pink acetate.
The top/jacket features princess seams, a wonderful faux
pearl/rhinestone button front closure, deep scooped neckline with elastic fitted puff shoulder/sleeves (with stiff netting inside each).
The skirt features an invisible back zipper, a straight pencil style and a back slit for ease of movement. There are fashionable darts in the front and back which give it a very nice fitted look.
Measurements: Top: Underarm to Underarm 18 inches, Approx Bust
34 to 35 inches, Underarm to Waist 7 1/2 inches, Side of waist to Side
of waist 14 inches, Underarm to Bottom Hem 15 1/4 inches.
Skirt: Waist 26 inches, Side of hips to side of hips approx 18 3/4 inches, Top of skirt to bottom hem 37 1/2 inches.
This terrific suit is in excellent condition with no stains,
rips, holes or tears. It appears to have been previously taken in under
the arms to fit the previous owner so there are a few pin pricks in the
fabric which only show in the lining.

How I Measure Clothing: Measurements are of the garment.....not the wearer. Please be sure to allow and inch or two for comfort. Garment is measured while flat on a table. Please measure clothing that fits you well before you place a bid to make sure the item will fit you. All clothing, unless noted, is in used condition and will show some signs of wear. I will do my best to note every flaw that I find in the description. I am only human and may miss something.
Fiber Content Information/Cleaning/Mending: If the fiber content tag is still attached to the garment, I will state the information in the description. If there is no content tag, I will do my best to describe the material.....All garments will need to be hand laundered, machine laundered or dry cleaned prior to use unless I state that I have cleaned it. Some vintage fabrics require professional dry cleaning and I do not have a reliable cleaner in my area. Other vintage fabrics require special care and I dare not attempt using harsh chemicals or risk damage to the item. I will, however, clean garments if I feel comfortable doing so.
Due to my lack of sewing skills, any item requiring mending will be left to the new owner.
USA Refund Policy: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please email within 48 hours of receiving the package and state you will be returning the item. Refund will be given as soon as item is returned and inspected.
Item must be returned with a tracking number within 30 days of auction's end.
All items must be in the same condition as received.
