Western Electric IMPERIAL  c1951 75th Anniversary 202 Rotary Dial D1 Desk Set  Cream & Gold Telephone

A neat old phone with what I believe is an F1 Handset,  c1951.

Unlike the earlier 202s this doesn't require an additional transformer box to work, however this model doesn't have an internal bell.

This really is a beautiful phone! 

It would be a keeper if I still had a landline.

There's some minor cracks and signs of wear.

The curly cloth covered handset cord is a 'lil frayed in places and ain't so curly anymore.

I had ideas of rejuvenating it but will leave that to the next owner.

The connecting wall card is in decent shape (really long) the insulation has a small tear near the end but the internal wires look unscathed.

It dials smoothly switch arm is springy.  Transmitter and receiver elements are present.
