Vintage Porcelain Japanese Tea Cup with Hand Painted Floral Rose Cherry Apple Blossom and Leaves
Super clean and in very nice condition. Tea Cup with handle. marked Japan on bottom and hand painted rose, cherry, or apple blossom and leaves on outside and inside cup. I am not sure which flower this is?
Marked: "Japan " on Base
Dimensions: 4.75" in width with handle x 2.25" in Height ; 3.75" Diameter drinking area
Provenance: This was owned by my grandmother. It has been safely packed up since the 1960's and unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and was found again. It is time for someone to cherish this again like it had been in the past.
Condition: EXCELLENT as seen in the detailed photos. Beautiful! Super clean. Vivid Color - hand painted. No chips, No cracks. No crazing. Super Clean. The silver trim on rim and handle has some minor wear as seen in photos. It is in terrific shape and the colors of the flowers and leaves remain vibrant in contrast to the very white bone china. Japan is stamped on the bottom
