RS PRO PCB mount jack sockets also feature a robust body that is moulded from durable, grade-1, black nylon and is designed to support auto-insertion, ensuring easy installation and use. With a maximum current of 5A and withstand voltage of 2000V DC minimum, this range of jack sockets are suitable for a range of high performance applications.

Application

1/4” PCB mounting jack sockets are used in a wide range of applications where the connection of a 1/4” jack is needed. They are available in both mono and stereo and can feature a number of contact arrangements and tabs for secure and reliable PCB mounting. 1/4" jack sockets are commonly used with devices such as:

What are the contact arrangement codes?

Contact arrangement codes are as follows, (from the front of the socket):

• B = Break contact


• M = Make contact


• S = Single contact, (i.e. non switched)


• N = No contact
