With an absolutely stunning AAA flamed maple body, this 2016 Gibson ES-175 may even look as good as it plays and sounds.  The guitar shows light playwear with light surface scratches in the finish and light wear to the hardwear, but virtually no wear to the frets.  Overall this guitar is in very good condition, and is in superb playing condition.  Notes sing through the 57 Classic humbuckers.  The tone is very comparable to a classic, vintage era ES-175 with PAFs, but will get you there for less than half the price.  All notes ring out clearly and the action is low and fast.

The guitar has had a headstock crack that was repaired expertly by master luthier Darrell Guinn.  It is almost unnoticeable, but the next owner should know.   There was no disruption of the headstock face.  The only finish issue greater than a surface scratch is  a light ripple in the surface which is hard to see that I have pictured.  It shows slight finish checking in this area, but does not involve any disruption to the wood.

The nut was been replaced at the time of the headstock repair with a bone version (the original is included).
