Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19^th century, with an original lock and key.

It’s an rare and beautiful high quality of octagonal shape jewelry box and a lid

with white brass metal hinges on every sides with a very unusual lock and secret(?) key,

with old natural stains, insides of the box and lid covered with an original red colored silk.

It’s in very fine condition, it measures 8.5” x  6” x 8.5” (21.6 cm x 15.2 cm x 21.6 cm).
