Manufactured at the Corona, California factory, the 24-inch short scale American Performer Mustang offers the authentic tone and feel of a USA-made Fender, and features modern performance-inspired specs throughout.

This model is equipped with two Yosemite(TM) single-coil pickups that produce rich, expressive tones developed specifically for the American Performer series.

The Yosemite (TM) pickup has a staggered pole piece without chamfers that achieves high output, and by potting the pickup with shellac solution, it produces a dynamic sound while suppressing feedback.

The American Performer Mustang is also equipped with a Greasebucket(TM) tone circuit that attenuates the low range at the same time when narrowing down the tone, preventing muddy sounds.

Furthermore, the bridge uses a modern vintage-style Mustang bridge with grooved saddles. The Modern C-shaped neck has a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets for smooth and precise bending.
