American Performer Telecaster Hum
Manufactured at the Corona factory in California, the American Performer Telecaster Hum is equipped with a DoubleTap(TM) humbucker that takes the authentic tone, feel, performance, and performance that is unique to USA-made Fenders to a new level of inspiration. It features modern specs throughout.
This model features Yosemite (TM) single-coil pickups and waxed DoubleTap humbuckers for rich, expressive tone developed specifically for the American Performer series.
The patent-pending pickup design prevents volume loss in single-coil mode, and the combination of both pickups produces a dynamic sound.
Yosemite(TM) pickups are staggered pole pieces with no chamfers to achieve high output.
The American Performer Telecaster Hum is also equipped with a Greasebucket (TM) tone circuit that simultaneously attenuates the low range by an appropriate amount when narrowing down the tone, preventing muddying of the sound.
The Modern C-shaped neck has a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets for smooth and precise bending.
