The egg stands on three rised Griffins. The Griffin holding a schield and a sword is a symbol of the House of Romanov.

When open the egg -the clock reveals.


The egg is in excellent condition.
High grade fire gilt verge fusee full plate movement with hand pierced and engraved balance cock ,silver regulation disc,fancy square pillars,fancy side decorations.
Fine enamel dial with original hands.The movement is made by John Ryland,London.

Perfect working order(do not expect a quartz accuracy from 250 years old clock). A matching key included.

The egg is  hallmarked with the Imperial Russ  84 silver hallmark.
