100% cotton is biodegradable at least 50-77% in a large-scale compost in about three months, a process which returns carbon to the soil and enriches it. On the other hand, in large-scale composting, polyester biodegrades very slowly takes 10s of decades.

You probably already know that cotton is the best material for underwear, but you may not know what your underwear is made of. Polyester, nylon, and other synthetic fabrics are often used to make undergarments, but these fabrics may hold moisture close to your skin, encouraging the growth of yeast and leading to infection.
Cotton, on the other hand, breathes and absorbs moisture, keeping you dry and lowering your risk of yeast infection. Remember to check the label for 100% cotton.
♥ CARE INSTRUCTION
Turn garments inside out before washing. We suggest hand wash at 30 °C but if you have things to do then machine wash at 30 °C again but on a gentle cycle, and with similar colors only. Do not tumble dry and make sure that when ironing you use a low temperature. Never use bleaches or softeners, and never dry the piece in direct sunlight. We recommend air-drying to extend the life of each product. Be sure to check the care label on the individual item.
