This pen has a piston filler (see photos) as you can see the ink is pooling on the nib in when the pen is taken from storage. 

This could potentially be resolved with cleaning, I am a novice with fountain pens.

Lightly used, one owner, expected signs of wear for a used item of this vintage.  There are minor scuffs/scratches on the cap and barrel. No major flaws, no dings or dents. See photos for full description of quality.  Please Note: the pen has not been cleaned or serviced since I inherited it. Comes as is. No box/case, no booklet, no refills, etc. 

I do not use stock photos, images are of the exact pen I am selling.

The cap is brushed chrome with a portion of the barrel brushed chrome 

And a portion of the barrel is blue and white whale shark pattern. 

The barrel is stamped with "SHEAFFER USA". 

This Sheaffer has an ink converter filling unit.



This fountain pen measures 5 3/8" capped and 5 1/2" posted.

M size, 14K Gold platted NIB.

White Dot on clip. 

The color of this pen is dotted blue rich blue which is rare and classic.
