This seiko Chronograph is a beautiful example from this well respected brand. Housing the 6139 movement, this is one of the earlier automatic Chronograph movements, and even boasts day/date function also.

The gold plated case has been refurbished due to poor condition, as has the crystal. This was done professionally to a high standard as seen from the photos. The dial is in very good condition with only a few scratches. The minute hand was bent, but has been fixed and re-lumed. The crystal does have a tiny crack at the 9 o'clock position, but this is not a threat to the watch. A new suede leather strap has been fitted, which is comfy and stylish.

The 6139 movement has been recently serviced and runs well. The timekeeping is good, and the chronograph functions work as they should. Occasionally the chronograph minute hand will not reset exactly to zero, but this is easily fixed.

As this is a vintage watch, there is no guarantee for timekeeping. I have calibrated the watch on my timegrapher and it currently runs well, however be well aware it will need serviced periodically.
