Up for bidding is this medallion done by my Dad, Chester Y. Martin, for World Food Day in 1984, just before his employment at the U.S. Mint in Philly.

I'm not a professional grader but I don't see any flaws on the medallion

It comes in a case whose strap is unattached on one side (please see all my pics!). There used to be a pamphlet enclosed that told a little bit about the medal but that pamphlet is no longer present. The medal is right at 1 3/4" wide & is app. 2/16" thick.

The case is right at 3" wide. I don't currently have a postal scale but the medallion in its case feels like it weighs about 3-4 oz.

This was created by and belonged to my Dad. Dad was always an artist-first (& always) as a painter, then he developed an interest in sculpture and medallic art which led to his eventual employment at the U.S. Mint in Philly from 1986-1992.

Dad died in 2022 and he left behind a vast collection of art-mostly his own, but also that of others. We are keeping some of his things that are the most personal to us but there's so much here that we felt the need to offer some of it to other collectors.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my Ebay things!! I APPRECIATE YOU!!

If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, please feel free to ask!!

Good luck bidding & most of all, HAVE FUN!!
