- Deposits: Unless specifically agreed in writing beforehand, deposits received to secure the sale of a vehicle are non returnable. They act to serve both the buyer and the seller as a promise the transaction will proceed to conclusion as intended.
All vehicles shall remain on sale until a deposit or payment is received.
Returns & Repairs: Any claim for returns or repairs (or cost of) shall only be considered subject to prior return and assessment by vendor's engineer.
Claims for repairs or expenses incurred without specific prior authorisation in writing from vendor shall not be considered.
Trade Sales: Sale (or agreed sale) of any vehicle to a buyer who identifies themselves as acting within the motor trade (i.e Trade Sales and certain Business to Business transactions) are non refundable. The majority of legislation relating to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer protection is not applicable for such transactions. Any request for a refund may be rejected if there is evidence of inconsistent acts for example personalisation, modification or changes to the vehicle, or if the vehicle has been used and driven following identification of any fault arising in a complaint.
Distance Selling: We do not specialise in distance selling or mail order and it is not the general course of our business. However on occasion, by request, delivery can usually be arranged with an independent vehicle delivery agent at additional cost.
In the event a vehicle is returned for a refund, notwithstanding an initial 100 mile allowance for testing and inspection purposes, any additional mileage covered will incur a usage deduction of £1 per mile from the refund value, in addition to any deduction deemed reasonable to account for cosmetic or other damage sustained during the period since purchase.
Collection and delivery charges are non refundable.
