Details.... ...... There are sixteen slides on offer here. They date from 1982 and each mount has written details. The photographer was on a visit across Australia and these shots relate to his time at Ayers Rock and the Orcas. The famous landmark has been captured in close-up with its gorges and more distant pictures. We have scanned four of the set and the remainder are in a similar vein.

THE SCANNER ADDS A FEINT LINE ACROSS THE IMAGE FOR SECURITY. THAT IS NOT ON THE SLIDE.

NUMBER OF SLIDES : 16 slides

A MESSAGE FROM ME

You may well have heard of the photographer Vivian Maier, but in case you haven't her story is one of the great mysteries of our time. For nearly half a century she took photographs, and rarely showed her passion to anybody. Just before she died her storage units in Chicago came under auction and the collection was purchased by a number of buyers. The subsequent details are worth checking out (Google up her name). I have two You Tube video's that I compiled from a number of her photographs. They can be found under the title's Vivian Maier A walk on the wild side and Vivian Maier A Christmas Story. Hopefully you will find them of interest.

Another photographer who died not knowing what a treasure trove of negatives and plates he left behind was Mike Disfarmer. His pictures of a rural community in Arkansaw at the end of the 1930's through to the mid 1940's are just fantastic. Again I have made up some small films and they can be found on You Tube.
