VTG 1970s Polyester 3 Piece Disco Suit (38 Tall / Long) Disco MCM Retro Hipster Bell Bottoms

Up for sale is this eye-catching suit from the disco era.  This suit is made of textured polyester.  The cut of the jacket is a British style with a slim waist, moderately padded shoulders, wide 4" lapels, a ticket pocket on the right side, a full lining and deep double rear vents.   The vest has two pockets and no rear belt. The trousers have a flat front, a mid rise, and very wide 11.5" bell bottoms.

Get ready for Saturday Night Fever in this incredible suit!

Condition: Very Good / Excellent Vintage Condition.  Only lightly used. The pants have a few light marks, on near the bottom of the leg which are almost unnoticeable - see photos. One small pull on the front of the pants near the crease - see photos. The jacket and vest look near perfect with paper labels still in the pockets.  Overall, this suit is in very nice condition. From a smoke-free home.

Chest (arm pit to arm pit): 21" double is 42" the normal deduction is 4" making it a 38

Waist (across top /middle button): 19.5"

Sleeve (from shoulder edge seam to cuff): 26.75"         with a hem of 1.75"  

Shoulder (back seam to seam): 17.75"

Length (from bottom of back collar to hem): 32.25"

Vest:

Chest: 19" 

Waist: 18 1/8"

Back length: 21.75"

Front Length: 26"

Pants:

Waist:  17"  double is 3"   (with about 1.75" to let out)

Rise: 11.75"

Zipper: 7.5"

Length (inseam): 31.75" with a 3" hem

A note on grading: 

Mint: Perfect; like brand new

Excellent: Looks nearly perfect; no visible flaws; almost new condition

Very Good: Only a few minor flaws which are not visible or have no effect on the look of the garment

Good: Multiple minor flaws, but may not be very noticeable, the garment is still wearable, but may need minor repair

A few words on sizing:  Since many suits aren't marked, I go by measurements to determine size.  Also be aware that sometimes a suit is marked, but it doesn't match the measurements.
