The covers are titled: Rolling a Cigar – Paraguay; Native Dancer – Peru; and Huaso Dancing the Cueca – Chile. These are covers only with no menu listings or ships identification. *Ada Peacock (1929-1962) was born in Ohio, she went to England as a young woman, married an Englishman and moved with him to Buenos Aires.  Her husband started a business in advertising, and they ended up staying there the rest of their lives. She painted gouache pictures mostly in the 1940s or earlier, of authentic Argentine people, their costumes, and their lifestyles.  Earlier, in England and New York, she had designed costumes for several musical revues.  In Argentina she designed menu covers for several luxury trans-Atlantic passenger ships. 9” x 12” and 4 pages. All have a mildly bumped corner, but remain quite clean. Sold together.
