This Kong Toy is new old stock. It is still tied into the original box. I have tested it, it makes a small sound. Because it is in its original box, I do not have access to the battery box. The box exclaims that Kong comes with 4AA batteries. I can not determine the condition of the battery compartment. Sold as is, thanks for looking.
