NOTE:
This light kit is designed for 12-VOLT OPERATION ONLY. Lights and accessories WILL BE DAMAGED if the system is hooked up to a 36-volt or 48-volt or any other voltage exceeding 12 volts.
If batteries can be configured to only supply 12 volts (e.g. two 6V or one 12V battery) light kit can be hooked up directly but is not recommended.
For all electric carts a voltage reducer is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. After voltage reducer is installed please test voltage with a voltage reader prior to installation to determine the output voltage is no higher than 12 VOLTS.
