Vintage 1970's towel set by Avanti, made from 100% cotton.

These are the decorative towels, guest towels that your family is not supposed to touch for any reason because they are for company only.  (LOL)

This set is such a pretty color, I call it pale gold, but it may be a light buttery yellow, or ecru with gold undertones, no matter what you call it, it's a very light golden color for the actual towel.

There are open-work embroidered designs on each piece,  in the shape of a small floral bouquet, embellished with a coordinating gold fabric, that also embellishes the bottom edge of both the bath and hand towel.  

PLEASE NOTE!  I found a flaw on the washcloth in the embroidered design.  At the very top of the design, by the tallest leaf, the fabric on both sides is fraying.  It looks like it happened during the embroidery process.  Please see the photos.  It is the very last one I posted. Also there is a smaller flaw on the bath towel, also in the embroidery, second to the last photo. Unless you are looking for this you will not notice, so they can still be put out for display.  I just want you to know that they are there..

They are made of cotton terry cloth, embellished with cotton fabric to create the designs.

They would be perfect in your retro guest bathroom.  hanging on the towel rack, never touched by human hands....
